Thanks for this post - always good to challenge common assumptions I think.
One of the hardest and most important disciplines in business is deciding where to put your and your enterprise’s energy. In the sales process and in the ongoing customer relations process. It’s hard, but sometimes you have to cut loose those prospects or customers that aren’t in your target zone. It isn’t worth it for anyone.
Maybe the saying should be “the *right* customer is always right.”
