Since you asked: The Tequila Shots book
June 26th, 2008
A few people have asked me to share the internal Tequila Shot Book we’ve mentioned on the blog. This is our book of beliefs here at Brains on Fire. Our pirate’s manifesto.
This year we connected our goals as an organization to our beliefs and for me it has been inspiring - life changing really - to get in writing the why behind the goals we are working toward as an company. Each of the 12 beliefs had a “making it real” section with specific tactics and goals to well, “make it real.” (I left those specifics out of this pdf.) Check out here:

Wonderful book, Robbin. I understand that it was created for internal use, but have you shared it with any of your clients/prospects? If so, I’d be interested to hear their reaction(s). Could see it working wonders to ramp up excitement for upcoming initiatives/ideas.

How do you measure your success against these beliefs?

Howdy Jeffrey,
What isn’t included in the PDF is the “Make it Real” to each of the 12 sections which has measurable goals for each one. From the number of speaking engagements to revenues to creating a weekly moment of appreciation to creating a simple, engaging work order system. Each time we check one off, well, it’s tequila shot time!
