It all started with a kiss. Strike that, it all started with a threat of a kiss with the possibility of some love. Without the resources of the larger beauty companies we have been faced with doors wide shut and have compensated with the small things like a kiss.

Based upon the Doubletree experience (warm chocolate chip cookies) we started sending out samples and actual orders with chocolate kisses and love letters from the “Love Team at Nutralove”. Every cold call starts out with “Are you ready for love?” The reason this works, is it becomes part of the DNA but more importantly part of the aspirations of everyone.

As for the above mentioned threat of a kiss, it’s true, no one wants a kiss from me-just the chocolate one, xoxoxo.

Wow. Thanks Jeff. I'm happy that my presence can add a tiny little morsel of comfort some where in the world. That is exactly what I was going for. And those mutual friends? We have a few don't we, right here on this blog. Thanks for commenting. We LOVE comments around here.

Whenever I see the picture of you next to your post, gazing into whatever you're looking at, it makes me think we're sitting at a coffee bar and we're talking about our old friends-Which is great except that I'm not so sure we have any mutual friends.
Anyhow it is very comforting.

Well, thanks for asking. We're flattered. The original book links our goals to our beliefs. Let me take those specific goals out and post a pdf tomorrow. Or tonight, if I can figure out how to post a pdf??? Hmmm.

LOVE the 'love is a circular transaction' bit. so true.

you're always sharing such wonderful stuff from 'tequila shots.' i know it's an internal piece and all, but, boy, what i wouldn't do to get my hands on a copy of that...

smaller scale, perhaps, but here's how we spread love:

we're a not-only-for-profit insurance agency that at only works with local, independent businesses in columbus. and rather than trying to convince people that our products and services are better than EVERYONE else's (we're good, don't get my wrong), or talking about price, instead, we decided to launch a collaborative campaign to promote awareness of the many benefits of buying goods and services from local businesses. more of a community project for the common good, really. supplying the ingredients -- buy local stickers for store windows, scooters, whatever, to start -- having conversations and seeing where people want to take it.

just getting started, but already it's helping us connect with people and to build collaborative partnerships over shared values and trust.

now, about that book...
