If your one of the millions that’s seen “Transformers” you’ve seen the rather startling and cryptic movie trailer for a yet to be named movie by Lost creator JJ Abrams. The only clue on the trailer is the date 1-18-08. I went to the website last week and saw one picture marked 01/18/2008 12:01A. And when I visited the second time there was another picture with a time frame. Now they have my attention.

Following the codenames for the Abrams project is as confusing as choosing a potential presidential candidate for the Republican party. Websites (Slusho) and blogs are popping up making mysterious tie-ins to the movie trailer and the website. I’m sure Paramount and Abrams is loving every minute of it, surprisingly hand held videos taken from cell phones have been pulled from youtube. Abrams has now came forward and cleaned up some of the rumors, in JJ Abrams style of course.

He tells AICN: “Regarding the online stuff you posted: yeah, we’re doing some fun stuff on the web. But, obviously, if the movie doesn’t kick some massive ASS, who gives a rat’s about what’s online? So as you can imagine, we’re focusing mostly on THAT. For what it’s worth, the only site of ours that people have even FOUND is the 1-18-08.com site.”

Abrams and Paramount have managed to start a massive trail hunt on the web that started from a trailer teaser that’s appearing before only one film. Now if anybody has any leads on the other undiscovered sites, please don’t forget me.

On the Slusho site, a horse says slushozoom…go to slushozoom.com, and there’s even more fun to be had (Links to other sites, etc.). Oh, and highlight the entire page. There’s a very cryptic message on the bottom.

    This could be fun.

    Or it could be SOAP.

And, oddly enough, one of the hidden links in the slushozoom site (look REAL hard at the bottom) is for a news article warning against the consumption of the famed energy drink “Cocaine”.

    Hmmm.

very criptic..i was making this slusho sticker i saw a friend of mine and when i look on the web i realize the connection..speculations aside i’ve found that the photos on the official site can be flipped and two of them have rather normal “goodbye nice trip” messages with a slight smudge that reeks of suspicious :D havent seen that around so i guess i found it?

    Cheers, Jac

  4. Russell says:

No, I knew you could flip them, but I haven’t seen any smudges, the two I see are perfectly legible messages, one saying don’t forget who takes care of you, and the other telling him to use the photo to spread a message of hotness.

  5. Russell says:

I’m guessing if you keep checking there will eventually be something new on the back of one of the photots that show people fleeing in terror.
