Curiosity Team Thoughts for the Weekend

November 10th, 2006

Well, I skipped last week’s assignment, so I wanted to make sure that you still had something to mull over for this weekend… so what are the memories, ideas, images, sounds, smells, people, characters, animals, etc., etc., etc. that come to mind when you hear the words AGGRESSIVE and PROUD?

Let’s assume “Aggressive and Proud” are together for this assignment:

The word that comes first to mind is swagger. People, teams (sports or corporate), or whole cultures have swagger.

    Others:
. Control: A/P people seize control of the dialog and are not passive members.
. Forward: A/P people are moving the agenda forwards, are making progress towards goals.
. Confident: proud means there is positive emotion behind the aggression, so this conveys confidence.
. Positive: proud means good feelings about past accomplishments.
. Optimistic: same as the above — if you feel good about accomplishments and are aggressive enough to push them forwards, you are optimistic about the future.
. Defiant: if you’re on the wrong side of history, your aggression and pride can strike a defiant tone and posture.
. Action: aggressive is prone to action.

That’s what 60 seconds of introspection provides — hope that helps.
