He barely moved the hoe and weeds flung themselves out of the ground and the corn/beans/tomatoes would immediately stand up straighter (they knew he was there to help them, I think). Precision = snippy little scissors, dental tools, the sound of toenails being “snicked”, gear teeth meshing together
