Like Jennifer I read "a whack on the side of the head" in my early childhood, but being in a remote part of the world, my chances of expanding my brain further were limited to budget and availability in the local bookstores.
Still the point to this comment is that thanks to that crack in my mind, ideas, solutions and brainstorming have become part of my character and most definitely the sky is not the limit to what a proper motivation.
So Mr.Roger von Oech please keep on writing so teachers like me can open kids minds in far away places like Honduras.

[...] I’ve become a frequent reader of the Brains on Fire Blog. Brains on Fire is a national naming and identity company based in Greenville, South Carolina. In some ways they are a competitor as they do a lot of the same work we do in our business but in other respects they have a different niche. In a recent post on their blog entitled, A Whack On The Side Of The Head one of the authors, Jennifer, mentioned several tools told to her by another blogger, as well as other ways to come up with creative ideas outside of our normal mode of thinking. Interesting enough reading blogs of others in the industry is one way I give myself those creative whacks in the head. [...]

Hi Jennifer,

Thank you for the very kind words. I like your provocative posts (the current one included).

I wish you and the BOF team a lot of fun playing with the BOW.
