WOMMA’s YouSessions

October 19th, 2006

summit logo.gifLast night, WOMMA launched a new element to change the way they do events - YouSessions. At the upcoming December 12-13 WOMMA Summit, there will be a day of breakout sessions designed, executed, and chosen by the attendees of the conference. This idea was born from watching trends in user-generated events - do a search on “unconference” “BarCamp” or “Pick your panel” and you’ll see what’s happening. We talk about consumers taking control of marketing and media, why not events?

So, what do You want to see or show? Do you want to see a live debate on whether or not WOM is a media channel? Would you like to share the results of a case study that you’ve done? A set of online and offline tools that you think that others could learn from? Do you want to interview and spotlight your lead customer evangelist? Join the conversation and suggest a topic at YouSessions.

There are also some fabulous speakers already lined up for the conference - Jackie Huba, John Moore, Dave Balter, George Silverman and many more here. Just remember that the most meaningful addition to this agenda could be you.

(Disclosure: I am on WOMMA’s board and speaking at the summit)
