I made a trip to the mall with my wife this weekend. To my surprise my wife told me she wanted to check out the Aerosoles shoe store. I thought she was crazy, aren’t Aerosoles what my mother wears? Well I was wrong, very cool sexy shoes, trendy alternative music and an all male staff of hip young guys wearing all black. They totally pampered my wife. As I was paying for the shoes, that’s why she took me into the store, we noticed a color flyer about the Aerosoles Shoe Party. We asked about this and the guys started raving about how much fun it was. You pick the date, invite your friends and provide refreshments they will provide the invitations. They will come with a sales specialist and bring the hottest trends in shoes and accessories.

I asked them how this was working, they said great a good party out sold a day in the mall. But more important it was fun, and I believe these guys. I think this is a great idea, I hope its working for them. I don’t know if this is just a plan to increase sales, but I think the potential here is great for a brand that is trying to change its image.
