WOMBAT Watch

June 10th, 2006

Greetings from Chicago! I had the pleasure of spending the last 36 hours with the newly elected Word of Mouth Marketing Association’s Board of Directors. The experience reminded me of what I love about WOMMA conferences – sharing and debating ideas with marketers from differing points of view, who all share a passion for customer conversations.

WOMBAT.jpg So with that in mind, I cordially invite you to join us June 20-21 in San Francisco for the WOMMA’s Word of Mouth Basic Training (WOMBAT) conference. There will be presentations and content for those at the beginning of the explorations of Word of Mouth Marketing as well as plenty of opportunities to network and discuss more advanced concepts with the major thought leaders in this space. I’ll be kicking off the second day of the conference with guidelines on translating what you learn from the conference case studies into your own word of mouth action plan.

Many of the other Brains blog scribes will be there and we’d love to meet you. Please email me (by clicking on my name below) if you’re coming so we can set up a time to take our virtual fellowship offline. If you aren’t signed up yet but would like to come, we’d be happy send you a discount code for the conference. See you there!
