I have to admit this is one of the cruelest and funniest college pranks that I’ve heard of in years. It was California’s finale home game against USC. USC guard Gabe Pruitt took his first trip to the free throw line, the Cal student section hollered in unison: “VIC-TOR-IA, VIC-TOR-IA,” and then yelled out a telephone number. Pruitt glanced at the crowd in horror before clanking his free throws.
