Way, way out of office

When the JoCo Cruise – affectionately referred to as the ultimate nerd cruise – asked us to revamp their brand, we were immediately on board, literally. In March 2023, our team set sail on a week-long, immersive insight process, where we learned about the culture and the die-hard loyalists who shape this community-driven brand. Our mighty trio of onboard Brains strategized their schedules to experience everything the ship had to offer. They took their learnings back to the broader team, and together, we cruised through the task at hand.

We  built a fun new visual system, informed by cues from the world’s of music, gaming, comedy, travel, and (most importantly) the eclectic JoCo community. Every detail speaks to the unique spirit of a JoCo cruiser, from the hints of halftone shading, to our library of custom illustrated mythical characters.

Building the bridge from IYKYK marketing to reach a new generation

We took a multi-channel approach through updated web, social, email, and we enlisted our sister agency, Mass Culture, to run a robust growth strategy bringing the comprehensive brand experience to life online.
